The whole world in yourpace, and four new subjects
At the start of October yourpace got its first three geography modules, on Europe. Thirty more have arrived since: the whole world, and four subjects that were not there yet.
Geography: from Europe to the whole world
Countries, flags and capitals now exist for every continent — Africa, Asia, North America, South America and Oceania — and for the world in one module. Alongside them:
- Rivers and mountains — Europe. From the Alps to the North Sea.
- Seas of the world. Red Sea or Black Sea?
- Currencies — World. Yen, rand or zloty?
The world modules also sit together in one journey, World Traveller, and the European ones in Europe, mapped.
Four new subjects
- History — Greek gods and Roman gods. Zeus or Poseidon? Jupiter or Neptune?
- Nature — Dog breeds. Malinois or German Shepherd?
- Science — Phobias. Fear of spiders has a name.
- Sport — Darts scoring. Treble 20 and a 5: how many?
Math: the tables
- Multiplication tables. Every table, 0 to 10, by heart.
- Division tables. Every division, by heart.
- Multiply and divide. Each table, then dividing by it.
Together they make up the Math Champion ages 6 to 9 journey.
Music: by ear
- Notes by ear. Hear a note's place in its key.
And as everywhere in yourpace, each module picks your next question just beyond what you already know. You practise them in your browser, at yourpace.vinkl.be.
